In our Community we have People, Businesses, Charities, Churches, Organizations and Clubs that Contribute there time, money, skills, and many other resources to assist with our Communities well being.
I’m in the process of putting together some articles about some of these Contributors and the Projects that they’re involved in. So many times we take for granted, or we are unaware of what or who is involved in them. I think it’s time for the “Unsung Heroes” of our Community to be recognized.
This is our way of saying Thank You!

“We live in a Great Place with Great People, and that’s what makes Coeur d’Alene a Great Community” R.S.
As I was navigating my way around town yesterday during the IRONMAN I was able to get around with ease. Thanks to the Great work by our local Police department and all of the Great Volunteers. They all were not only efficient, but they were also very friendly. Offering smiles and great patience as they directed traffic and dealt with the pedestrians.
The Volunteers all served with great Spirits and welcomed our Communities Visitors with warmth and Compassion. After all that’s what makes the Coeur d’Alene Community so inviting to our Visitors.
The Coeur d’Alene Press ran a great story about the Pros view of our Community.
Caitlin Snow, champion of the 2008 Ironman Lake Placid, commented on the final few miles of an Ironman.
“I feel like by that part of the race, you’re tuned in, you keep going,” the Texas native said.
“This is beautiful,” she added. “It seems like the locals really get behind the race, which is great.”
